One Architecture = Compatible Applications

All Itinio applications share a unique and universal data-relationship architechure. This approach serves two important client benefits;

• Application Compatibility - each Itinio application works seamlessly with another, allowing clients to select the features and modules they require to process business transactions in virtually any combination or format.
• Continued Software Support - a universal platform ensures that all client configurations and custom modules remain fully supported in the future.

Example 1: Boat Rental + Lodging + Content

In this example of compatible applications; the Itinio Boat Rental configuration is used to describe and reserve a multi-day houseboat rental. This same customer then reserves lodging at the same property for the day before and after the rental period.

Both of these products, while differing in data-dependency and pricing, are added to a single customer invoice for payment by one or more parties (houseboat rentals tend to have more than one paying party).

All of the the products, as well as the supporting website pages are managed using Itinio Content Manager — allowing the web designer a high level of interactivity of product and content.

This interplay of applications is made possible by the database and module design inherent to Itinio.

Example 2: Campgrounds + Retail + Membership

Simple space-available reservations such as campground and RV park spaces benefit from the compatibility of varying inventory relationships to become effective sales and operations management software.

In the case of campground reservations, Itinio Campground Reservations is matched with a basic Itinio Retail module so that visitors can be charged for additional items (trailers, extra vehicles or pet fees) upon arrival. Itinio Memberhip tools can be utilized for purchase of time-specific Annual Passes — consolidating and managing validity and passholders across multiple properties.

All transaction types may be calculated on a single customer invoice, or in the case of gate fees, split into separate invoices depending on which method is more efficient for the campground operators.

Example 3: Tour Ticketing + Retail

Easy enough. Reserve a mid-day whitewater rafting tour with lunch via the outfitters' website. Upon arrival, check in and purchase t-shirts and drinks for the family — all on the same invoice. The outfitter even emails you an updated receipt and off you go down the river to get wet.

Itinio configuration allows the outfitter to accurately share arrival and transportation information to their driver providers, calculate government river-use fees and sales taxes on the meal. Additional items can be added to the original customer invoice for payment with the card on file, or with a new form of payment. The outfitter can then email the customer their receipt with a single click and the receipt action is recorded in the customer account history.
